The success of a company rises or falls with its employees. But exactly what personnel challenges do mid-sized companies face today? Along with the University of Osnabrück, we at zwei.7 put these and other questions under the microscope. Along with the BVMW (Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft, German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses) as well as the Industrieller Arbeitgeberverband (Industrial Employers’ Association), we surveyed 209 SMEs regarding personnel marketing, recruitment, and development, as well as future challenges in the area of human resources. Based on these results, we developed recommendations for companies to deal with these challenges.
